Thriving as a Psychologist in an Age of Disruption: Cultivating Resilience and Agility
Founded in 1921 as the New York State Association of Consulting Psychologists, the New York State Psychological Association was the first state psychological association in the country. As we look towards our next hundred years, we must address (1) how we will continue to fulfill our mission of advancing the science and practice of psychology and promote human welfare during an unprecedented global pandemic, (2) the belated awakening of the impact of systemic racism, and (3) the rise of domestic terrorism.
NYSPA's 2021 convention is designed to help New York State psychologists discover ways to adapt to the challenges we currently face during this time of disruption to society and to the way we work.
