NYSPA Dues Get an Upgrade!

For the first time in nearly 20 years, NYSPA is updating its membership dues model to ensure fairness, consistency, and long-term sustainability. Over time, our structure became overly complex — with 31 different categories and nearly 200 rates. It created confusion, errors, and one-off charges that didn’t clearly connect dues to value.

At the same time, the costs to provide member services have steadily increased over the past two decades while our dues and other pricing remained unchanged. This new structure helps us preserve the programs and resources members rely on while ensuring the organization’s continued strength.

The new model is simpler and fairer, with fewer than 10 membership classes, clearer benefits, and stronger savings. You’ll continue to receive the benefits you value most — plus added advantages like:

• Greater savings opportunities on CEs for members
• Included or unlimited Division and SIG memberships
• Expanded community connections through Synapse
• Enhanced accessibility options for CE courses in 2026

Member Categories

The following table lists NYSPA's current membership categories.  A full list of membership benefits by class is available on the Member Benefits page.
