Funding the Future of Psychology
The principal purposes of the Foundation of the New York State Psychological Association are:

To disseminate information concerning the science of psychology and the subject of mental health, to publish writings, papers, books, pamphlets, newspapers, journals, periodicals and other publications concerning the science of psychology and
the subject of mental health generally, for the benefit of persons concerned with psychology and mental health and the general public.

To engage in any kind of activity, necessary or appropriate or in connection with, or incidental to the accomplishment of any one or more of the not-for-profit purposes of the Foundation.

To encourage and cooperate with municipalities and local governments of every kind and nature, community groups and agencies, other non-profit corporations engaged or interested in publishing and disseminating scientific and literary information,
including but not limited to seminars, writings, papers, books, articles, periodicals and other publications.

NYSPA's Annual Convention
The Foundation of NYSPA organizes NYSPA's annual Convention, where psychologists from across New York State come together to participate in cutting-edge and engaging workshops and lectures.

CE Credits Through the Foundation of NYSPA
The Foundation of the New York State Psychological Association, Inc. is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #Psy-0066.
The Foundation of the New York State Psychological Association is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Foundation of the New York State Psychological Association maintains responsibility
for this program and its content.
