Special Interest Group Description

On January 24, 2021, NYSPA’s Council of Representatives approved a new Trauma Special Interest Group (SIG). The Trauma SIG mission is to provide a forum for the exchange of clinical expertise, collegial support, professional education, and scientific research with a special interest in the psychological and psychosocial impact of trauma, and to move the understanding and conceptualization of trauma forward while providing a platform for interdisciplinary and multifaceted dialogues on trauma.
