The Poster Session is held each year during NYSPA's Annual Convention , and enables participants to present their recent research and writing to an interested professional audience.


2024 Poster Session

The 2024 Poster Session will be held during the 2024 NYSPA Convention. Posters will be on display for all convention attendees to view on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the NYSPA Convention. Representatives from the poster authors will be in attendance to discuss their posters and answer questions.

2024 NYSPA Poster Awards

Submissions should present completed empirical findings related to basic and applied psychology. Additional poster awards may be announced. All poster submissions are automatically nominated for all awards.
 
Adult Development and Aging (ADA) Division Award*
 
Winner will receive a monetary award of $300. One award available.

Qualifications of candidates:

Must have a doctorate, or be seeking a doctorate in psychology or related field, and associated with an educational institution in New York in 2024.

Have research completed in an area which informs Adult Development or Aging.  

 

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Grant winners will be encouraged to participate in, and consider leadership in, NYSPA's Graduate Student Association.

*NYSPA retains the exclusive ownership of all Poster Session Awards and will independently handle all procedures for nominations, prizes and selection of the award recipients.
