A  four case study presentation entitled Noir Aspects of Passion with themes based on Noir films of the 1940s and 50s, where the  darker aspects of human passions and behaviors are explored. Four analysts explore their patients dreams, sexual fantasies, as well as their own, in the process of helping to enliven passion and discover desire in the disowned noir aspects of their unconscious.

  • The Boring girl:  Finding the Passion of the Femme Fatale Within with Veronica Fiske, PhD
  • Good Girl vs. Femme Fatale: Igniting Passion and Surviving Annihilation with Herbert Gingold, PhD
  • D.O.A. the Murder of Passion with Julie Lehane, PhD

The presentations will run from 2 to 3:20, followed by a discussion until 4 pm with refreshments and networking from 4 to 5pm
