The morning session will feature Sylvan J. Schaffer, JD, Ph.D. speaking on Strangers in a Strange Land: Professional, Ethical and Practical Issues in Working With and For Attorneys and Courts. This will be followed by a three-expert panel relating the keynote address to civil (Jemour Maddux, Ph.D., ABPP), family (Alberto Yohananoff, Ph.D.) and criminal (Cheryl Paradis, Psy.D.) forensic practice.

The afternoon session will feature Gianni Pirelli, Ph.D., ABPP who will speak on Firearm-Related Competence for Clinicians: Professional and Cultural Considerations .  This will be followed by a two-expert panel relating the keynote address to violence risk assessment in psychotic (Ali Khadivi, Ph.D., ABAP) and non-severely mentally ill (Kostas A. Katsavdakis, Ph.D., ABPP) individuals.
