Many psychologists are embedded in organizations and associations in their various roles as therapists, teachers, researchers, volunteers, or consultants. In addition, clinicians who are primarily in solo private practice have patients who are navigating workplace challenges and stress, whether they are tele-working remotely or have been on the frontlines as essential workers since March. Some employees may be starting back to work in businesses that are re-opening. Some psychologists are also managers and leaders. All of these workplace issues present challenges for the worker, the leader, and the employer or organization.
In this training, Dr. Chris Allen, Workplace Psychologist and Executive Coach, will address:
- Common challenges faced by employees during the COVID-19 pandemic and it's impact
- What individual managers and leaders can do to help their employees minimize their stress and promote well-being
- What can be done at the organizational level to help workers, employees, and member volunteers during this unprecedented time of crisis
