Prices are per insertion over a one-year period. An additional charge of $100 will be assessed for typesetting for non-camera-ready copy. The NYSPA Notebook is published four times a year. Minimum order is 3 lines, maximum 20 lines. 36 characters including spaces and punctuation per line. Advertisement submitted for the Notebook will be published line for line and cannot be altered. Friday Flash
e-Newsletter Advertising ($80 Members; $150 Non-Members)

NYSPA's Friday Flash is a weekly electronic newsletter reaching over 2,500 psychologists and students. List your event or office rental in our weekly e-Newsletter, which is emailed to members every Friday. Topics range from industry news, association updates, health care reform and legislative facts. Ads for the Friday Flash are due Wednesday by 12 noon the week of the publication.  Please call (518-437-1040) or e-mail for more details.

E-Blast ($400 Members; $500 Non-Members) - Reach over 5,000 Psychologists!

E-Blasts are targeted e-mail promotions sent directly to psychologists in New York State.  A maximum of four e-blasts are sent per month and are processed on a first come, first serve basis. E-mail lists are not sold and NYSPA reserves the right to refuse or edit content. E-blast content must be provide in HTML or JPG format. If content needs to be reformatted, a rate of $100 per hour will be charged.

NYSPA Website Banner Ad ($250 Members; $300 Non-Members

Ad dimensions are 232 x 60 pixels, and rates are monthly (31 days). Banner ads are placed within 3 business days of submission. Ads must be received 5 business days prior to posing date. 



Web Classifieds ($100 members; $150 Non-Members)

These classifieds appear on the NYSPA Website, and run for 31 days. Web Classified ads are placed within 3 business days of submission. Maximum wording is 250 words and may be submitted as a Word document or in the body of an e-mail. This is generally used for renting/leasing office space, office equipment, testing supplies, etc.

Pictures may be added to classifieds for an additional fee of $15, with a maximum of 3 pictures per ad. Pictures should be in jpg format, maximum file size is 1MB, maximum picture size is 400 x 300 pixels.



Web Calendar ($100 Members, $250 Non-Members)

List your event on NYSPA's Website calendar! Listings appear upon publishing through the date of the event and are placed within 3 business days of submission. Maximum wording is 250 words and may be submitted as a Word document or in the body of an e-mail.

Convention Exhibit/Sponsorship Opportunities

Exhibits are a vital source of information for our convention attendees who work in government, not for profit and proprietary institutions, agencies, private practice, psychological service centers, consulting firms and universities. Exhibiting gives you the opportunity to expand your client base, boost sales, increase exposure to potential new clients, make qualified leads, and facilitate face-to-face interaction with a captive and interested audience. Mailing List Requests

Cost is $700 for whole or partial list. Payment and sample copy must accompany the Mailing List Rental Form. A List is provided for a one time use only and is to be used exclusively for the purpose specified in your request. "Decoy" names are included in the list to serve as a monitor against unauthorized use. The List may not be reproduced, photocopied, entered into a computer database or copied in handwritten format without the express written permission of NYSPA. Violators are subject to prosecution under federal and state copyright laws.


The publications of NYSPA are published for and on behalf of the membership to advance psychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare. The Association, therefore, reserves the right to unilateraly REJECT, OMIT or CANCEL, advertising which it deems to be not in the best interest of these objectives, or which by its tone, content, or appearance is not in keeping with the essentially scientific, scholarly and professional nature of its publications. Conditions, printed or otherwise, which conflict with this policy will not be binding on the publisher.
