Division of Academic Psychology: President-Elect
Louis H. Primavera, PhD
Dr. Primavera is the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Touro College. Previously he was the Dean of the Derner Institute at Adelphi University, Associate Dean and Chair of Psychology at St. John’s University, Associate Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University and Chair at St. Francis College, and Instructor at Molloy College.

Mercedes McCormick, PhD
Dr. Mercedes McCormick is a Licensed Psychologist, Adjunct Professor and Coordinator of the MA program in Psychology at Pace University. She served as Past-President of NYSPA's Division of Women's Issues and the Academic Division. She is Past-President of APA Division 52 International Psychology and the NY Academy of Sciences Psychology Section.
Division of Independent Practice: President-Elect and Alternate Council Representative
Patricia Dowds, PhD
Patricia Dowds, PhD is the Co-Director of Family Therapy Institute of Suffolk, and the past Executive Director of the Minuchin Center for the Family, NYC. Through these two agencies she has worked on developing programs to keeps children out of the court system, and to reduce conflict in divorce.

Carol Goldberg, PhD, ABPP
Carol Goldberg, PhD, ABPP is qualified for the OCW Alternate Council Representative, having served as OCW Council Representative for six years. She keeps up with Council meetings, attending voluntarily. She lives within walking distance to sub on short notice. She is on the OCW Board and a business consultant for 30 years.

Topher Collier, PsyD
Dr. Topher Collier is currently the Director of Student Support and Success at the United Nations International School (UNIS) in New York City. As a member of the school’s senior leadership team he oversees all school wide programs, faculty and staff related to academic, social, emotional, and physical health and wellness.

Carol Goldberg, PhD, ABPP is qualified for DOWI Alternate Council Representative. She is a staunch supporter of women and long-term DOWI member and participant.
