The 2012-2013 Leadership Institute class is working on a project to educate physicians and the public about medical cost offset: that psychological treatment decrease medical costs. The results of this project will be delivered at the NYSPA Annual Conference in June.

Joanne Lifshin Mentorship Award
In Memory of Dr. Joanne Lifshin
The Leadership Institute of the Foundation of NYSPA would like to recognize others that exemplify the incredible ability to mentor early career psychologist and students to become leaders, like the late Dr. Joanne Lifshin.
The Leadership Institute Award Committee consists of 2 mentors, 2 fellows and 2 alumni, who will select the award recipient from nominees received by the deadline.
Criteria:
Nominate a psychologist who demonstrated outstanding leadership in mentoring students, early career psychologists, and peers within the profession.
Provide a description of the activities, examples of their mentoring and at least one referral of an individual that was mentored by the nominated individual.
If the person nominating the psychologist is the individual who was mentored please indicate this in the nomination.
