Dr. Spielberg and Dr. Vaughans are experts on racial anxieties and enactments and ways these experiences are reflected in and expressed in self and other schemas, cross-generational patterns of trauma, cross-cultural and mixed racial therapeutic relationships, transference/countertransference interactions, and institutional contexts.  The workshop will consist of theoretical and clinical perspectives, case vignettes and opportunities for experiential involvement.

As therapists, we work with many diverse individuals and groups and this workshop is intended to enhance attendees therapeutic skills and ability to work competently across racial divides.
