Experience and learn the therapeutic power of Compassionate Mindfulness here in New York.

Training runs May 6-7. Earn 13 CE credits.

Compassion lies at the heart of the therapeutic relationship.

However, to bring compassion to your work with clients, you need to practice compassion. That starts with a personal, experiential connection to the work. In this intimate workshop, join Dennis Tirch, PhD, and Laura Silberstein-Tirch, PsyD, to cultivate your inner wisdom, strength, and commitment with mindful compassion in your practice.

This workshop will integrate personal compassion practice with clinical training, allowing you to directly experience process-based therapy approaches you can use to foster compassion in your clients. Dennis and Laura will guide you through mindfulness and compassion practices drawn from Buddhist philosophies and Western psychotherapies, including compassion focused therapy (CFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and functional analytic psychotherapy (FAP).

In two days, you’ll learn a step-by-step approach to cultivating your inner compassionate self and living your life with deep purpose and courage. You will leave with a renewed sense of how to encourage deep, meaningful change in your clients.
