Division 44, The Society for the Study of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Issues, the American Psychological Association &
the Independent Practice Division of NYSPA

Division 44 and the Independent Practice Division of the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA) are hosting a networking reception in New York City on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 7 pm - 9 pm.  This will be a fantastic opportunity to gather and connect with other professionals and students interested in the psychology of gender diversity and sexual orientation. We are fortunate to have Dr. Charles Silverstein, a champion of the LGBTQ community, open his home to us for this event. Join us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres as we cultivate new connections and nurture existing connections.
The event will follow the Independent Practice Division of NYSPA’s Annual Open House Brunch, featuring the workshop: “Transgender 101: Developing the Clinical and Cultural Competencies to Work with Trans Patients.”  Both events will make for a day full of networking, education, and fellowship.

Cost: $10 for Professionals; $5 for Students
