The Next Phase of Health Care Reform: Practical Steps for New Practice and Business Models for Psychologists / Neuropsychologists

We are excited to announce a one-day summit on integration and alternative practice models set for May 30 in New York City.  Practitioners from psychology / neuropsychology and medicine are invited to come together to network and learn the nuts and bolts of getting involved in, working in and developing systems that promote integrated health care. Panels of experts representing clinicians, hospitals, and insurers will give interactive presentations on:

  • Basic first steps in integration
  • New practice models that promote integration
  • The importance of traditional mental health and neuropsychological services in integrated systems
  • Collaborating with insurers to advance integration
  • Working integrated hospital settings
  • Improving communication &collaboration between psychology and medicine.

Participants are invited to a closing reception to further network and exchange of ideas.

This event is major collaboration between the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), the American Psychological Association Practice Organization, the New Jersey Psychological Association, Connecticut Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, New York State Association of Neuropsychology and American Hospital Association.
